Sometimes I have to wonder what the hell I'm doing with my life. I mean, besides the fact that I'm the Princess of Procrastination, Duchess of Displacement Activity, Woman of Work Avoidance, what use is my chosen profession? Why couldn't I have done something immediately useful to my family. Like become a doctor, or a lawyer, or a vet...
Biochemist? Sure, I may be helping millions of people dying of cancer, but what satisfaction do I get out of that?
