[+/-] Ear wax and syringes

"This will just be a little uncomfortable". Never trust anyone in the medical profession when they say this. After two days of total deafness in one ear (swimming, got dunked, wax melted, went deaf), I finally went to the local pharmacy and got the nurse there to syringe out my ears.
  1. Eeeew! Gross!! Two enormous globs of dark wax. Blerg...
  2. It was decidedly uncomfortable!
On the plus side, now I can hear again... and my ears are clean.
