I bought a pack of mixed herb seeds (re: my 43 things - Grow an Herb Garden), and needing some instant gratification, I "planted" the seeds in cotton wool in a saucer, the way you do with beans when you're a kid?
Well, I've got leaves! And roots! Its so cool... I have no idea what to do with it now, but its cool anyway.
