I don't want to die!

All this has made me realise something:
Previously, I would think to myself (regarding the thesis):
Oh God, I don't want to do this. It would be so much easier if I was just hit by a truck and died...
Now that imminent death has stared me in the face, I now think:
Oh God, I don't want to do this. It would be so much easier if I didn't have to do this.
I think it might be a long while before I have suicidal fantasies again...
