BlogMaps
by AmandaNew Post
This is so cool. I have been playing with blog tools and hacks all morning, and I stumbled upon BlogMaps. Very basically, how it works is: you add a tag with your location into your blog template, submit your blog's address, add the resulting feed to your template, and voila, you have a map. With neighblogs.
Its so geeky, I love it!
For detailed instructions click here. Or here. Or here.
Personal note: You may want to use IE to do this - there seems to be some problems with using Firefox.

meta name='ICBM' content="41.10618"
meta name="geo.position" content="8;60865"
are inserted within my template after
$BlogMetaData$(2nd.tag ahead head).

I can't get the feed map now! The page
http://www.feedmap.net/blogmap/submit.aspx displays the message "This blog is already registered; use update method for updates."
The page http://www.feedmap.net/blogmap/Ling.aspx says "Unable to store blog. Please try again later"... and later... and later...
So. How to get the code to insert within the template the way to display "My BlogMap!" on sidebar?
My blog URL:
http://malaposta.blogspot.com/
Vila Nova de Gaia (border Oporto), Portugal

Would you help?
Thank you.
