[+/-] Batman Begins

James and I saw Batman Begins last Tuesday. Wow, its completely awesome. I urge you to go and see it if you haven't already... It is simply the best batman EVER.

Ok, there is one hole in the story, if you have watched that Batman one with, who was it, Jack Nicholson? The Joker... Anyway, the whole "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight..." you know which bit I am referring to, right? That was missing, which was a bit weird, but otherwise, Christian Bale was fabulous (not to mention quite yummy, hmmm I want to do the Gun Kata thing from Equilibrium), Michael Caine was brilliant and Samuel L was excellent as well - both really funny. And the evil nemesis (dunno the actor) - he was good too. Also, the story involved drugs and ninja's so it was perfect, really...

The best thing was the humour - instead of the usual American way of delivering punchlines with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer, these lines were slipped in with deadpan expressions in the middle of normal conversations - fabulous!

Correction: Morgan Freeman, not Samuel L. Thanks Jude

OK, first of all it WAS a great movie!

But I need to set the facts straight...the reason the Joker quote was not in BBegins was because the Joker DID NOT kill Bruce's parents. It was put into the first Batman as more incentive for him to take the Joker out.

Secondly, Samuel L. was NOT in BBegins. It was Morgan Freeman.

Now that you have all the facts I'll let you go back to praising the movie!

So, what was that whole thing about "Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"
